I’m the co-founder of Cartoon Brew, a leading animation industry publication that launched in 2004. I was its publisher and (for many years) editor-in-chief until selling the company in June 2025.
I’m also the author of the award-winning Cartoon Modern: Style and Design in 1950s Animation and The Art of Pixar Short Films, among other books.
Current projects: A biography of Ward Kimball (slated for 2026) and various fiction projects including short stories and a children’s book.
